  The Sunflower is not located in city centre but very close to the tram station that can take you to the tube so within 15-20 minutes you can get to Duomo. It's a good compromise between price and location. As Milan is a safe city even in the middle of the night you can go back to the hotel with no feeling of fear. As to the hotel itself it's quiet... what people say » , well equipped, clean simply excellent to stay in if you pop up to Milan for sightseeing. Breakfasts are fine. Nothing exceptional but everyone can f - Clean and comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. Getting to the hotel initially wasn't easy but once we got used to Milan's excellent public transport, it was great.

  the hotel staff was excellent...they even made our stay one to remember...it was my boyfriends birthday so while we were gone they left us some champagne and a birthday note for him...definitely made the day...it was also close to everything...the walk wasnt bad and the metros were close by...rooms were comfortable and a great breakfast selection..... what people say » .we had a wonderful stay - It was probably the best 4* hotel i have ever stayed.Very clean,convenient to the public transportation and easy enough to park your car in blue line zone(1.20 euro per 11 hours is better than the 25,00 euro that hotel parking needs!)   Everything! The staff was amazing! Even before we arrived, we had contact with staff asking if we needed any services upon arrival. After our arrival, they were helpful with making our stay more enjoyable! When we walked into our room, it was beautiful, comfortable, and smelled great! I know that sounds weird, but you felt like walking into a ... what people say » spa! The hotel is green, which was so cool! The breakfast was the best we had had on our 10 day trip! We left wanting to return and to stay at Hote - I like it that the room was furnished stylishly and everything seems new and well-maintained. The propriataria, I think, was so nice and kind that she showed me to my room and didn't mind that I wanted to practice Italian and took time to let me and restated all that needed to pay attention to in English. The breakfast was such a heaven! Food was healthy (fresh fruits, juice, water, bread of all kinds and eggs and bacon) and there's live classical guitar play!
