We stayed at this hotel for two nights during our honeymoon. The room was beautiful and very clean although can get very loud at night, must sleep with the window and shutters closed to avoid this. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of homemade pastries and bread, as well as fresh fruit. although we were told it was served at 7-10am, when we would go down at approximately 7:15, not all the food was out and prepared, including the bacon and eggs, so i think it is a better idea to have a later brea.

My second stay here. Clean, white, modern, and convenient. The staff are lovely, and it's a simple and easy hotel. And they have a parking service. Design. It was impossible to have a shower without flooding the floor outside. They either need to add a sliding door or make the glass sheet wider to stop this from happening. The staff whilst friendly at most times, were not the most eager to accommodate unlike what we have experienced in other parts of Italy. The shower nozzle has no easy place to hang on so it took time to finish showering cos you have to hold it with your hand. It is a bit of a walk (about 20 minutes) to the center. Small choice in the minibar. No smoking area available insight the hotel. Missed out on our first night there because of 'technical issues' - we were relocated to a nearby hotel for that night. Drain in the shower basin partially blocked which meant really quick showers or the bathroom flooded. The shower. Typical European open glass so water went everywhere. I couldn't figure out how to turn the tv on, but also couldn't be bothered to ask someone. The hotel has a bit of a breakfast situation: At times there is a shortage of seating space for breakfast. Guests obviously get grumpy when they have to wait to be seated and -otherwise very friendly weaiters- get stressed by grumpy guests.... The room was small and you cannot open the wardrobe!!!. little far from duomo and santa maria novella. The hotel is a bit small, also the rooms, beside its considered as a motel not a hotel. Staff was not so polite as everywhere else in Italy. Breakfast selection was limited. Location was a bit of a walk from the centre of Florence. Lack of clarity regarding parking and getting ripped off by beggar outside hotel. Being wakened at 3am by noisy night staff working in the kitchen and being unable to sleep again. Obviously I complained of this and after two days was given a room further away from the kitchen. The hotel's windows also do not keep out noise from the street and at the weekend revellers make a lot of noise. If you are a light sleeper, it's worth considering. SHOWRR IS NOT PRACTICAL!! Water went all over floor (1) The drain did not drain well(2) The opening for the door was too big, consequently water would splash all over the floor and sink area (3) When trying to wash yourself there was insufficient space, you would hit the sides. Breakfast needed more hot options...there were two or three different groups that had to request scrabbled eggs one morning in the the 15mins that we were there Difficult to connect to wifi in the eating areas. The room was fairly sized, but characterless and cold (mid-October). The bathroom was an absolute horror, with the shower being nothing more than a flexible tube and a piece of glass. The location is far from the city center and no views from the rooms. The rooms are too small and you need to use steps in the floor to reach your room which is not convince for 1 year old baby with stroller. no help for bags to floor at nights!!. The hotel. It felt tacky and cheap. The shower in the bedroom did not help, or the plastic white headboard. The 'complimentary' mini bar had water and coke in it , everything else had to be obtained from reception,you were made to feel a bit like 'Oliver Twist' You had to pay to use the roof terrace, which had no shade at all. There was no bar or sitting area. The whole experience was quite depressing.
