  Hotel is a beautiful building, outside built with natural stones. We had a terrace in our room. It was great to wake up when birds were singing outside. There is no aircondition in the room so we kept windows and door open all the night. Breakfast was fine, you could sit outside watching the beautiful scenery towards mountains. There was a sign it was not allowed to swim in the pool after 7 pm, but we saw some people were swimming so perhaps it wasn´t so serious warnin - What a find - a real gem! The receptionist (David?) was so welcoming and friendly. It's great to be greeted so nicely after a very, very long drive. The kids were straight into the outdoor pool to unwind. The staff in the restaurant were also lovely, cheerful and obliging. We really felt like our Italian holiday had begun when we arrived here and were sorry that it was only a one night stopover (on our way to Elba) as we would love to have stayed for longer!

  This hotel is not expensive and it takes only 15-20 minutes to beautiful Cinque Terre by car. It is very quite outside and it has good view of mountains and sky with full of stars.   Great place to stay. Easy to reach Cinque Terre. Very close to Monterosso which is where you can park and take the train to go to any of the other towns. Supermarkets are available within a reasonable distance. Small convenience store/coffee shop in the court yard of this B&B. Absolutely loved our extended weekend stay here! - Amazing! ... what people say » Owners were so friendly. It is listed in a super small town so don't expect to do much at te actual town. However they had amazing festivals with super good music. Very close drive to the beach! Privacy and felt at home! I didn't want to leave!!!

Internet connection, although "wired", was reliable with reasonable speed. A car is an absolute must. - Edda and Ubaldo are among the warmest people we have ever met. They were immensely helpful and kind in all respects. They went out of their way to provide guidance to us in our visit to the Cinque Terre. In addition, their breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. La Meridiana is immaculate and a tranquil respite from the congestion of the Cinque Terre.

We went to dinner late at night at a little restaurant down the road and found the staff there to be so open and engaging. We met the owner, a lovely young woman, and her staff and had a long visit about Italy, America, politics, etc. The food was fantastic...great pizza! Locanda BelSole was quaint and a bright spot on our vacation.

The rooms are large with a huge comfortable bed, well air-conditioned and quiet - We used this hotel for a night's stopover, just off the Autostrada. It was easy to find.
