  Familia!!! Before we even arrived at the Hotel Trieste I was in contact with the wonderful couple that owned the hotel. My family's time was limited, unfortunately to only 1 night in Catania. We wanted to go to Mount Etna; see some of the city, and enjoy the food. Hotel Trieste helped organize all of my plans. We were met at the train by a wonderf... what people say » ul guide (Lemontour) who, already prearranged a luggage drop off at the hotel; and off we went to Etna. Simple wonderful!!! We got back to the hotel i - The hotel is very clean. The rooms are big. Our room hadd a belcony. We were very surprissed t get tthat quality for the money. The locatio is great, close to everything you wantt to see and busses you need to take. most importantly, it is ran by a young family. I bbegan communication with them even before our arrival. They were great to help us with excursions, directions, etc. We felt veery welcomed and at home. If ever in Catania again, that would be no doubt for us a place to stay.

  The staff were fantastic from the moment I arrived. The hotel exceeded all my expectations in terms of quality. Although not very easy to find, but the location is the main benefit when staying in this hotel: it's close to the historic sites and attractions. The night life is very busy just right outside the hotel, so be sure to bring a pair of ea... what people say » rplugs with you, which worked perfectly fine for me being a very sensitive sleeper. Fabio and his colleague (I forgot his name, sorry) were very frien - Friendly and helpful guys in the reception. We got clear instructions how to go to mount Etna as well as explanations of how to manage in Catania (including a map).

  The location is excellent, it is only 3 min away from the Cathedral and main squares. The owner of the hotel is very friendly and helpful. She can speak fluent english. And there is a free wi-fi which is not easy to find in Sicily. - Very friendly and helpful owner, excellent location. Really enjoyed our stay!
