  This is one of the best places we've ever stayed. There isn't a single thing that needed to be improved. Everything was excellent. Ombretta and Roberto were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough to help. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The accomodation was superb as were all the shared facilities. Our two young kids loved the place and w... what people say » ere in the pool every day. The surrounding area was a delight with lots of places to explore like Poppi, Stia and Consuma. The bigger draw cards like - Wow what an amazing place. It is very remote in the Tuscan mountains but just what we needed after a few days in busy Rome. The nearest shop is a 20 min drive away. But we loved it as it was so peaceful and relaxing. The owners are so friendly and make you feel at home. The apartment was well equipped and comfortable only downside was no oven but we managed. My kids 2 and 7 loved the pool, the playground and the wooded areas with a tree house. Poppi castle is well worth a visit we traveled to F
