Great hotel in great location. Directly across from train station, sogoing to and from Milan is easy. The airport shuttle also stops at thetrain station so getting to and from the airport is effortless. The walkto the Funicular is a leasurly 20 minute strolls, but you can take thebus. Lots of .Restaurants in walking distance and one at the hotel. the position of the hotel was excellent - it was right opposite the train and bus station so it was easy to get round bergamot and to milan and lecco. the staff were fantatisc and very helpful, and the room got cleaned everyday with frsh towels.

The Hotel is a good base to see Bergamo and Bergamo Alta. It is situated directly opposite the train station, with a half hour bus service to the airport right in front of the station, costs about 1 euro. You can walk from the hotel to the Funiculare in about 15 minutes which takes you up to Bergamo Alta. If you catch the bus, the ticket also covers you for the funiculare. Opposite the funiculare. The room was basic but comfortable. Staff were friendly for a busy hotel and the breakfast was very good. The hotel is in a good location for getting to Orio al Serio airport (it is very close to bus station) and a 24hr car park is about 5 minutes walk away at a cost of 12 Euros for 24hrs. Superb position next to train station and airport bus stop. At one end of main street making the whole of the city easy to get to. The breakfast was very good and all in all we would highly recommend this hotel for a short break in this most beautiful of cities.Perfect location with easy bus ride from airport (Orio); train station was one block away. The location is great, op the train station that takes you to the centre of Milan in an hour. The gentleman on the front desk of the hotel was very helpfull and advised us where we could go for drinks and food, what we need to see whilst we were there etc.I was impressed by the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. Not really I booked because of the reviews of other people and felt it was what I was looking for .I found it noisy at night due to the road traffic outside - could not sleep with the window open - better with window closed. The hotel reception was really welcoming and bright but I did find the room was a bit glumey, the lighting in the room needed to be brighter and in the room we stayed the bathroom needed to be refurbished.There was a lot of dust under the beds and behind tha bedsite tables.
