Only 5 minutes’ walk from Westport town, Hazelbrook is set within a beautiful garden, offering free parking and a varied breakfast menu. Historic Westport House can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Bright and warmly furnished, rooms at Hazelbrook Bed & Breakfast all include an en suite bathroom and a hairdryer, as well as a TV in the room. There are also 2 ground floor rooms with an en suite bathroom. Hearty full Irish or continental breakfasts are served in the dining room, and guests can walk through the French doors to the south-facing conservatory overlooking the pretty garden. Guests can also make use of the fully equipped kitchenette for guest use, or relax in the lounge with its real open fire, TV and small library. Massage, reflexology and aromatherapy are also available, upon request. Croagh Patrick, Ireland’s holy mountain, is a 10-minute drive away, from Hazelbrook.The guest house is located just off the main N59 road, and is 20 minutes’ walk from Westport Rail Station. The Great Western Greenway, linking Westport to Achill, is a 5-minute walk away.

We spent a wonderful 2 nights at Hazelbrook. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, the amenities are great, the room was spacious and then there was John! John, the owner, is also the chef and he makes a great breakfast to your specifications, with the added bonus of spirited conversation and a song. If you ever need to find John during your stay just listen for his beautiful singing voice. Westport is a beautiful town to explore and the Hazelbrook is a lovely place to come home to after.
all reviews » John is the best, he was always there helping us out with our questions and everything, cooking the breakfast, singing (haha!), and he's very helpful, he told us he should have come to pick us at the bus stop! And the room was fantastic, everything was perfect, we slept great, there was also a kitchen we could use and loads of depliants in the room! Very clean! I'd like to come back there! We stayed just one night, too bad... Hazel brook is a fabulous B&B,a couple of minutes from Westport,but beware there is a hill coming back,great location for exploring Mayo. Spotless and very comfortable rooms,lovely breakfast prepared by a wonderful singing host every day.. John,Mary and family made us so welcome,great hospitality for our 4 night stay,i highly recommend Hazel Brook. John (the owner) is an absolute gentleman and very friendly and eager to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The room, breakfast (cooked to your liking), parking, dedicated kitchen for people staying allowing you to make tea/coffe and some biscuits :). facilities are all excellent. Easy walk to town centre takes about 5-10min. The owner is very friendly and helpfull. The room was nice, clean and large enough for the 3 of us (adults). The irish breakfast was very good and prepared for all guests separatly. The town of Westport is very close to the B&B and a nice place to drink a few pints. All and all, had a great time and will definetely come back!. I would recommend the hazelbrook to anyone staying in Westport or traveling though. The town itself is amazing enough, on top of the top notch service, clean comfortable rooms at an affordable price and the most friendly host we had our two week trip.
