All the staff were of the highest standard, and sincerely friendly. Lying by the pool & being able to watch your son surf is the perfect location. Restaurants food fantastic and again service perfect. Breakfast was great. The smart deal price made it the best value. Loved the complimentary afternoon teas & cocktail party. Extremely peaceful and restful. Very warm and kind welcoming of the staff when we arrived and also during our stay. You can ask anything. The breakfast and location is great. One of the nicest pools in the area, just at the beach. What we liked to is that the hotel is located where the road between the beach and the pool is blocked for motorbikes. This makes it a very quite place to relax.
all reviews » The location was perfect - by the beach, quiet yet minutes walk or short taxi ride from bustle, shopping and night life of Seminyak. The staff were fabulous - friendly, very thoughful but respectful, and couldn't do more to make our stay truly wonderful. We'll be back!. Staff were extremely friendly & attentive. They obviously like their jobs & were committed to making their guests feel at home - especially Mini who has been there for 25+ years plus Dodi the pool boy who was an absolute delight. Great location, just across the road from the beach, part of Kuta/Legian with no traffic on the beach promenade - big benefit in comparison to hotels closer to the Kuta centre, clean pool, delicious food, 20 minutes from the airport. Staff, gede and mini were our favourites. Chef on buffet night, did a special dessert for us. Restaurant, and pool/room service - wonderful. Mozzarella s and bali Beatles all Anouilh to bring us back!. Fantastic location. The staff are all of such high standard and are all beautiful people. In comparison to the other hotels on Bali this was the best choice, definitely would stay there again, nice walks on the beach, good surf schools in walking distance, beach bars in legian 10 minutes walk on the beach, town bars 10 minutes by taxi. Deluxe rooms were not up to standard for the price. Thank you for the upgrade. It made our holiday. If the speed of internet can be improved a bit. There is only one thing I didn't like and that was in the morning the bathroom smelt like surage to the point you we left the room early. Late check out fee is excessive 80% of room cost. The location in Legian. Lots of awful tourist shops behind hotel. You really have to go to Seminyak for decent shopping. I think the pool could have some portable shade. Changed to a suite after two days. Aircon not working, took two days and three attemps to fix it properly. Staff were quick to address the issue however it was not fixed properly the first attempts. Spa was understaffed. And the staff could never say yes or no to the bookings which needs to be fixed. zilch!. I can't think of one thing!. Food was average, standard room was average for $$ paid, Bed was old and could feel springs, Bathroom had been renovated so that was nice. Room was a bit tired and old. Nothing. One of the older rooms was quite dark and one of the showers didn't work too well. However neither were a problem due to the friendly and helpful staff that switched us rooms and came to fix the shower immediately. The only thing I didn't like was having to leave!. room prices were a little too expensive compared with whats now on offer in the area. Rooms need a makeover air cond very sub standard. renovations meant spa was closed , did not cause a problem. hotel seems to need a bit of paint/renovations at some places. Nothing everything was amazing. needs a refurbish. We were disappointed with our room. The hotel is not the cheapest and the room we were allocated was old and 'musty' smelling. They are renovating some rooms and the spa/gym at the moment so hopefully this project will be on-going. Room was very tired and dated. Many small problems eg air con noisy and dripping.Toilet button sticking. Broken chair on balcony. Toilet door not closing properly!!!. Pricey for the size of the rooms (suite) compared to what is available in private villas outside, lack of A/C in restaurant. Construction next door led to appalling noise in our room. We had to be moved TWICE! The back rooms should be heavily discounted till the construction is complete. The next door hotel music was overly amplified and caused sleep disruption.
