  I love the uniqueness of the hotel - it didn't feel like a cookie-cutter or formulaic version of a luxury hotel, like so many hotels that belong to chains.   The hotel is opulent and classy. The staff is the best we have ever encountered, and consistently excellent. The dining is delightful and even room service is great. The spa treatments are amazing! Went in for a pedicure. An hour and 1/2 later I left after getting a Epicure, a leg rub and while my polish was drying , the young man massaged my neck... what people say » and shoulders. This was about 1/3 of the price you pay in most spas. Needless to say after that experience, my husband and I looted for 90 minute ful - All the staff were very courteous and did all they could to make our stay memorable. Even when I couldn't get complimentary breakfast served in my room due to the hotel's policy, I called the following morning explaining that I had two newborn babies and that it would be impossible to go down to eat breakfast in the mornings.
