  The rooms were bright and clean and the hotel upgraded us to a Junior Suite because it was our wedding. They had some chocolate strawberries waiting for us in the room. What a nice touch :) The staff was very helpful with any questions and they held our baggages at reception before we were able to check in. They were able to check us in early. Tha - The Radisson Blu 1919 is centrally located in downtown Reykjavik -- couldn't ask for a better location. Just a block away from the pedestrian area, and from the bus stop. The staff were always helpful and friendly in every way possible. Always. The rooms were very clean, with ample space. The breakfast buffet was really outstanding -- plenty of wonderful variety from which to choose. We felt very welcomed at all times here. That means a lot to us as travelers.
