The hotel manager Fridjon was excellent, really helpful and nice. The
apartment is immaculate and equipped with everything you could want. The
location is brilliant - just overlooking the harbour, only 2 minutes
walk from the Reykjavik town square (which also means it's a lot
quieter at 5am when everyone is coming out of pubs/clubs!)

The breakfast was simple but adequate and we also got breakfast at 5.30am before we headed to the airport on our last morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. transportation. Downtown Reykjavik Apartments (dra) met and exceeded our
requirements. The dra is just 2 blocks from one of the main bus stations
in Reykjavik. From that point, one can travel anywhere in the City.

We booked the smallest and cheapest available room (the double studio). When we arrived, finding our keys and room was very easy.
The room was small but very clean - the bedding smelt very fresh. We also saw a family studio which was bigger and again very clean and pleasant.
I asked to upgrade our room as I wanted a bit more space (the prices are very reasonable and I was happy to pay more). However when the owner and Thora heard it was the last leg of our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a 3 bed

Hotel Klettur is a new, beautifully designed scandinavian hotel. It is lean and clean, but very friendly. I was really impressed how nice it was. EVERYTHING.....the staff was way cool, the place itself was great and in
a great location,,,,,,exspecially with the cool big skull out front, it
is the perfect land mark and got me home many a night...Breakfast was
ok, the coffee was wonderful...the more I think about it ,I have no real
complaints about the place and if I ever get the chance to go

If I ever go to Iceland, I will stay there again. It is such a nice and warm hostel and it is highly recommended. -
It was so clean, and you didn't check in, you got an email telling
you how to get into the hostel / your room. I arrived at 2 am and
went right in and went to sleep. It is nicely decorated and so many
things to read to show you what to do. The owner called a bus for me to
get me back to the airport and I saw her eating lunch with some guests -
she is very nice. I felt very safe.
