I will always stay here when in Budapest. I loved the friendly staff, the relaxed atmosphere, great yard for the children to play, lots of outdoor seating for resting and fellowship, amazing food, wonderful European style breakfast, amazing spa with sauna and hut tub, good sized rooms for the price, prices are fair, shuttle to the airport is slightly more than the cost and hassle of the bus, close to shopping center, close to bus stop, close to airport, staff will take you anywhere you need to .
all reviews » We received a friendly welcome at this panzio which friends and family have used over the years because of its proximity to the Budapest airport. We had dinner in the small restaurant and found it be excellent--well prepared and presented. The provision of transport to the airport at 4:30am was convenient and good value. Perfect location (just 2 mins by airport shuttle at 1500 huf), very friendly staff, in-house restaurant with good food (and huge portions!). Rooms are located into two separate two-floor buildings, the place is conveniently located near the airport yet very peaceful. Close to the airport, free parking, shopping center in walking distance. Restaurant downstairs, very nice staff - good English speaking! Good for staying with dogs, 8€/dog extra. Breakfast for 6€ was not impressive, but OK. The staff was very friendly and the hotel itself had a lot of personality and was not "cookie-cutter": It had an over-all homey-feel. A plus was the owner/manager was very responsive and spoke English fluently. This hotel is ideal for passengers who have early morning flights out of Budapest Ferihegy airport. The bus stop is just 5 mins walk away and the hotel also provides its own shuttle service for a small fee. very nice hotel with friendly staff. This Panzio has gotten a lot of bad reviews, but we found it to be a good value for what it is--NOT a hotel, but a quaint Panzio. (Like a pensione.) The shuttle was timely and reasonably priced ($13 for 2 of us round trip,) and the place was clean , the staff friendly. The rooms were small but adequate and the beds semi-comfortable. Panzios are not hotels, and if that's your expectation, you will be disappointed. You should probably go to a Marriot. But if you want a stop and drop place for an . The location is poor because you are not near anything except the airport. However, there is a mall and they will give you a ride there for a couple euros. We've slept in better beds and softer bed linen...A bit over priced & a bit of a walk from the bus station. Nothing, really. The shower was awful. Rooms are very noisy (due to other travellers who don't care about others). The shower was not good - you have to push a button every 20 seconds to get more water through. That's what you get at a public swimming pool, not something you would expect at a hotel. buffet breakfast is poor, if did pay for better ask for scrabled eggs, it's included. The plumbing in the new annexe. Push button shower (12 seconds) and hand basin with 'sensor control' which only allowed 2 very short spurts of water wherever I placed my hands. I finally gave up. The rooms were small, especially for three. Noisy - tile floors so everything from other guests echoed. The bathroom was in need of repairs. The sink faucet didn't work at all, even though I could hear it try to activate when moving my hands under it, no water came out. The shower hear came off the wall and I had to screw it back in some in order to use the shower. No sound proofing. In the bathroom you can hear what people on the next room's bathroom are sayng. you can hear noise from the lobby.
