Beautilful panzio! The rooms were huge with big bathrooms to match. The furniture was lovely wood and the bedding was embroidered, I loved it. There was a wooden terrace outside the rooms with tables and chairs, with window baskets filled with geraniums (the ones you can see in the photos). Breakfast was varied and tasty. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It's only a short walk into Debrecen.
all reviews » Nice atmosphere, warm. The wifi worked great. Parking right in front of the room. Large double bed as we requested (not twin beds put together as in other places). We payed with card, so there's no need to have local currency (huf), although it may come handy when parking downtown. Staff is very friendly and willing to fix any issues you have. Th quiet location offers great comfort. The Nemethy was very good value, staff were so friendly and helpful although not speaking English. Location was excellent and Debrecen is lovely. Will be visiting again in September or October. I would recommend this hotel. We stayed for 10 days and beds were changed daily and it was very clean. My daughter was in Debrecen for dental treatment. Absolutely perfect, clean, big rooms, very nice parking in the yard and very helpful staff. The owner even helped to park the cars and go out of parking. The room was large and had a small fridge and private bathroom. The parking was inside the yard and free of charge. The staff was nice and friendly. Clean and tidy, only 5 mins walk from the centre. Tram 1 takes only 10 mins to get to the railway station. We got along fine though, so this is no big deal. Would have liked facilities in room for making a tea/coffee but we found a good coffee shop in the Plaza a few minutes away. No complaints. breakfast coffee- it would have been nice to have brewed coffee instead of instant coffee. A surprising oversight given the quality of the accommodations. Not so clean under the bed and in the room corners. No Restaurant and no possibility to buy anything at this hotel even beer. It is just hotel. Rooms are a bit basic, no amenities in the bathroom. The staff does not speak english nor german.
