Hotel is absolutely delightful. Location is very scenic, yet close to road access to all local sites. Staff were extremely courteous and helpful, and managed very well in English. The hotel restaurant is outstanding. Don't even consider eating anhywhere else in town. Great ambiance, location, etc. The small pond next to the property is lovely, and a great place for the children to play.

Exit the A4 / A72 motorway at Chemnitz and continue on route B174 towards Marienberg. Proceed on route B170 towards Olbernhau. In Olbernhau, follow the signs to the hotel.

By train:

From Chemnitz’s main railway station, take the Erzgebirgsbahn (Ore Mountains railway line) to Olbernhau/Grünthal.
