Its the first time I have stayed at a B&B Hotel (Nurnburg - Germany) but it won't be my last - I am very impressed with their hospitality etc. The hotel was very comfortable, warm and exceptionally clean. I can not comment on the dining - I took my own - plus ate out, as there is a very nice Chinese Restaurant next door (Nurnburg -Germany) They have secure underground parking at 5 euro a day - which I found very reasonable and very useful - peace of mind. The position of the hotel is excell.
all reviews » Paid a lot less for this room than many others on our 18 night european trip - the room was just as suitable & pleasant as many of the three star hotels we stayed at... So, value is excellent!!! Location is great with easy access to both city & train station (just down the road)! We slept very comfortably the night we were there! Staff was young, but extremely helpful!. This is a modern hotel, in a good location close to the old city wall and not far from the main train station and next to the U-Bahn. We had a room looking over the side street, so it was quiet. Room is large enough for a short stay. We stayed 3 nights. Breakfast buffet was very good. We used the hotel's underground car park. This is an excellent good value hotel. This is a budget hotel but it is very well run and had everything that we needed. Bed was comfortable and room very clean. Breakfast was well organised and we felt good value for money. Excellent parking facilities and close to historic city centre. Staff were most helpful and friendly. We would be happy to stay here again. Good location, next to subway opernhouse. Close to train station. Not too far to city centre. Neat and clean room. Easy check out procedure. The location is very convenient. The hotel is close to central station, 5mins by walk. A ubahn stop is right outside the hotel, and the old city center is just across the street. The tripple room we stayed is quite large, and clean. All furnitures looks brand new. The hotel staffs are nice and very helpful. Good location, next to a petrol station, able to park bikes securely for free in underground car park and there was a fantastic chinese restaurant next door. Nurnberg is famous as the origination spot for lebkuchen (gingerbread) - however, it is hard to find any in summer in general & we soon found out that it was impossible to buy any on a Sunday as the few places that do sell it year round were closed! Did get to try the Nurnberger sausages and some franconian duck, though!!!. nothing. Breakfast 7.50 is still quite expensive for can fruits and machine orange juice. My boyfriend had breakfast one morning, next morning has been convinced by me it's better to buy sth from supermarket. Only very basic room facilities are inlcuded. And the tv is way too small. Although "Bed & Breakfast" hotel, the breakfast was not included in the rate, but booked knowing this. Parking is also not included. Breakfast at E7.50 person was steep, so we didn't get it. Does what it says on the tin- if you are looking for a 5 stars and/or a view on the castle this will not do it. if you are looking for a clean, well located, good valued bed, this is ideal. It would have been more comfortable if there had been tea / coffee-making in the room (only available as a vending machine, 5 floors down, at reception). No complaints really - The window in the room can be opened very wide. We were on the 4th floor with a 2 1/2 year old so we kept the window shut and the air con on!. Everything was great. Nothing, enjoyed the stay. Wifi is not stable, but at least it's free. Wish they had a hairdryer. The carpeting was stained in one spot, but otherwise fine. Nothing. The double bed was actually two single beds next to eachother... was tricky from time to time not to end up in between. But not a big deal. I would recommend this hotel further, for sure. Room a little small for a family of four. No coffee maker in room. Breakfast was a bit expensive. Beds were not very comfortable. Nothing. B&B and breakfast not included in price. The WiFi was a bit patchy - was sometimes very slow. haven't found yet. the breakfast buffet could be slightly richer (but still provides all the basic stuff). if there was any down side, i would say maybe no fridge in the room but that dosnt really matter when its nice and clean and cheap. This hotel stay did not include breakfast. It could be purchased for a rather high price. We assembled our own from the nearby Rewe store for much less. Had to put down a 10 Euro deposit to use the hair dryer. Needs refridgerators in the rooms. My wife said the sheets were a tad scratchy...but for the price, no complaints from me!!. breakfast not included in the price. internet connection a bit weak.
