  Was a good location, next to a couple of clubs (not that we could get into them), and within walking distance of the underground. Big spacious rooms, plenty of room for everyone but we were three people short. Had they turned up, it would have been pretty good value for money. - good location, friendly staff & clean apartments

  All in all, a very good experience, starting with the initial good-value booking for a central hotel/hostel at one of Berlin's busiest times; the pleasant, efficient and helpful staff; the interesting conversion of an historic building; through the comfort and cleanliness of the room and facilities including the 24-hour bar with simple food served... what people say » all night, to the convenience of leaving luggage safe and securely for most of the day post check out. Highly recommended. - I had the chance of meeting and talking with staff of the hostel. They were very friendly and helpful. The room was very big. There were three bunk beds in a room for four. The toilet and showing facilities were also excellent for a hostel. I was sick and it was comfortable staying in bed for a day to rest. I'd recommend this place to friends.

  The apartment was exactly as it was presented in the pictures and as was described by the owner. It was very clean and very quiet (it is located in a big street but doesn't overlook it). The location is perfect, the tram is 20m away and the Bahn station is 5 minutes walking distance, while at the same time you have countless small restaurants, bar... what people say » s and cafes right at your doorstep. The owner was very helpful, giving us instructions for everything we needed, from emailing transportation instruct - I'd say that everything is fine with this apartments (Karl Marx Allee 137). It's clean and quite cosy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and moreover there were some oil, tea bags, salt and sugar - it helps when you've just arrived :) Taxi driver lost in this district, he didn't know any word in English and Anne explained him by phone what's a place he needs to get to. Many thanks.

  Peter, the owner, was very friendly and helpful, providing extra sheets and speakers for an iPod after we arrived. The apartment is in a quiet part of Karl Marx Strasse, 1 min from the tube, 10 mins walk from Alexanderplatz, 5mins from the Spree, 5 mins from Volkspark, and so is very central. The apartment was warm and comfortable. - Clean, well lo... what people say » cated, perfect for a city break. Was just two of us, privacy may be an issue if there are four travelling, but it depends how well you know each other! Facilities are good. TV, toaster, cooker,fridge,kettle etc. No iron though so if you want to look your best take a travel iron!
