Clean room, friendly staff, everything was functional and all with quite a reasonable price and like, in a good position too I guess (about 8 minutes to the central station Hauptbahnhof). They are what they promise to be. The shared bathrooms weren't a problem at all. No relevant problems where found. -

I really like the time that I spent in this hostel. The location is very convenient and close to the historical center of Berlin. So You can go by foot for sightseeng.
Especially I would like to mention the great breakfast which is so useful for a traveler! =) -

We were only there for 6 hours- arrived late and had an early flight to catch the next day, so just needed a place to crash for the night. The place was clean and quiet though, and the staff were very helpful. - Staff was amazing. Bike rental is cheap. Breakfast is pretty decent for 5 euros. The location is very handy. We've been to Berlin a number of times and with the standard of public transport, most central locations will be ideal for discovering the city - the same applies to the Generator. Loads of places you can walk to, U-Bahn just down the road and Freidrichstrasse station very nearby also.

I stayed at the dorm room this time, and it was one of the cleanest dorm with most comfy bunk bed I've ever experienced.
The 6 bed female dorm was cute and funtional; each bed has its own power socket, head lamp, huge drawer.
The power shower was great too. The wifi was free with great signal up to my room.
I'm not a dorm-room fan, but I definately recommend this dorm for anyone who does.
The location is very close to most of attraction and metro. Supermarket, McD, KFC were a little bit far
