  Very clean. Good beds, good shower. Enough space en very friendly people working here. Basic and clean. If you walk along the road under the railroad tracks it is about 5-10 minutes walk from hauptbahnhof. (Exit washingtonplatz) 3 houses next to the hotel is Don Giovanni, a very cheap but good restaurant. On the other side of the road is a Penny m... what people say » arket where you can get fresh baked bread every day. - Loved it very much! Italian restaurand, with good food for little money and friendly staff, next door made my kitchenett pontless, and i don't regret it. it's very close to many "must see" places. Really 5 minutes walk to Haupbanhoff (with heavy luggages add extra 10 minutes time), by taxi 1,5 minutes to drive. No screaming party drunks were heard in 5 days of my stay. suits very well for families.

Close to the S- and U-Bahn. Eventhough it was so close to the trainstation, we didn´t hear the trains inside. Quick check in and check out and nice service in the bar when we had a drink there one night. We didn´t take breakfast in the hotel as there are so many spots around to have breakfast or lunch.

I also stayed in other hotels around Berlin Hauptbahnhof and I think meininger Hotel is the best for the money you are paying (well, Motel One is clearly much nicer, but you ... what people say » usually have to pay twice as much). This MEININGER Hotel had everything I needed for a sleepover: clean and comfortable bed, good location, free WIFI, - - Outstanding location, right next to train station.
