The staff were very helpful (I rushed in from the car after a long drive and needed to use the WC before even checking in and they were very helpful!). The room was beautiful, modern, big and airy. It is directly across from the famous restaurant Auerbach's Keller where Goethe sets the scene in which Faust sells his soul to the devil. Great meal and wonderful paintings. The hotel is minutes from the famous Thomaskirche where Bach served as music director.

The room was quite large and the hotel was excellent, with a fantastic breakfast. - This was a first class hotel with excellent service.   Large room. Comfortable. Clean. Good value for money. Sauna (but i didn't have the opportunity to test it because I stay only one night). - only stopped one night while in town to see a friends gig. The hotel is so close and handy for the venue I will keep it in mind when back touring with bands. Staff were friendly and it was great value.
