On the day were leaving to catch an early train, the staff arranged for a packed lunch which was substantial and far beyond what we expected. The hotel could benefit from mentioning that there was a supermarket across the street as amenities like basic shops are difficult to locate in central Koblenz. The view itself was fascinating but Koblenz and other old towns you can visit by boat are interesting and environment relaxed. The hotel has a good restaurant and there are many others on the waterfront - immediately adjacent to the hotel. You can also eat in the nearby old town and buy amazing ice-creams.

  We really love this hotel! As we arrived the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff. The room was terrific! It was spacious with big bathroom and 2 full-sized beds. There were plenty of parking spaces and it is free of charge. There were 2 elevators which were quite large comparing with other hotels. The hotel itself even has good facilities. If - Don't be put off by the multi-coloured exterior, this hotel is lovely inside with all the facilities you would want. The staff were friendly and helpful. As it was pretty quiet the hotel automatically gave us a larger room than the one we booked - lots of space and a crisp, clean modern bathroom. Everything was smart and clean, good choice at breakfast, nice 30 minute stroll to Deutsche Ecke and the old town. We couldn't have asked for more at the price.

  Our room was very large and overlooked the river. The bathroom was also very large. The dinner in the restaurant was some of the best food we had during our three weeks in Europe.   Location is good, within approx. 200m walking distance from the train station and similar distance to the city centre. Clean, air conditioned and good value for money. Good capuccino at the bar which is open 24 hours. Koblenz town is charming. We did not have breakfast so unable to comment. - 1. Wi fi worked perfectly for all 3 days I was there ... what people say » (a necessity these days--should be mandatory in all hotels and free) 2. In shower water pressure and temperature remained constant once set. 3. Very quiet at nite, excellent lighting. 4. Little interaction w/staff but all were pleasant.
