  Great place in a great area. This lovely hotel lies on top of a hill just in front of a beautiful lake from which is visible the famous castle of Neuschwenstein. It's a silent and pleasant area and if you are lucky to get a sunset, you can also get a lovely panoramic view from the balcony and you can even have a walk along the lake which is just 1... what people say » 0 minutes distant by walk. Staff extremely kind, room little but comfortable and lovely. Would I come back to this hotel? Absolutely yes! I hope to do - Very nice breakfast and staff - they were very accomodating when our party ran into car trouble and got in very late to our hotel - beds were turned down and ready to be slept in! Location is good - very easy access to nice hiking and biking trails and the King's Castles - and we had a beautiful view of the lake from our balcony window.

Breakfast at hotel was very, very good and lovely setting.   This was the most comfortable hotel/BandB we stayed at during our 3 weeks of European travel in 4 different countries. Hotel Christine is immaculately clean and well provisioned. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful of any in Germany and Switzerland. The breakfast was amazing.
