The hotel is in a perfect location, short walk to the shops/bars/restaurants and the hotel secure car park took out the hassle of driving around looking for parking. The breakfast was great!. the hotel is right in the heart of the altstadt/ everything is on the doorstep/ my room was top floor and was very comfortable and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful,breakfast excellent,room very comfortable.Hotel in great location .

If you browse for more than 2 minutes you get billed for the whole movie. Didn't have a kettle in the room!. small room, 1 pillow. German bedding, not enough International TV only news channels or Pay TV. I select Hotels were I know I can stay in and watch a movie or sport rather than have to go out and although this hotel had two pay channels, no sport or any tv in english was provided. this is a big minus for business travelers, it needs to be corrected.Price of all hotels were very expensive due to the gds Shoe Fair.So atthis time no hotel is value for money. My room faced the street and wasnoisy. The room was quite small, but adequate. I had to pay for one of the two rooms, it came of my creditcardimmediately upon booking at booking.com to my surprise. Wifi in thecentral hall did not work and in the rooms you had to pay. We think itshould work everywhere and be included in the price.Sometimes too noicy, traffic on the strret and may be renowing in the near by parking house. no hotel bar. Slow internet connection . dont waste your time by use it. i missed somthing not important while i am there .. cheap chavers and plastic plates .. but when i told the the reception they gave me shavers. No tea/coffee facilities, no bath. Tv off Line. For a supposedly 4 * the room was pretty basic,no bathrobes TV in Geman language only and bed creaked evey time you moved. Overall the hotel was overpriced. I travel throughout Germany reguarly and I have found most hotel value for money this is the first time I have found any reason for complaint.I found being charged for having breakfast in our room particuarly galling. The room was very small ( the lady at the reception was acree when we told her the next day how pity we found it..( no offer for to chnage a room) The view was very bad at the backsite of the hotel and with a lot of noice of a waterfall. We looked half on a half on a wall. You cold hear the whole day, till 08.00 -about 20.30 oçlock the waterfall from the roof, very pity.
