  Absolutely what a traveler wants to find when your first visit makes you apprehensive. One of the nicest places we have stayed in over our 45 years of going to Europe. We highly recommend this beautiful destination for as long as you have time to stay. Surrounded by fruit trees and fresh air.   We stayed for one night only, the service was excellent and the friendly staff were attentive to all our needs. A nice touch was the free train travel voucher they give you to explore Freiberg, the station being a five minute walk from the hotel, with regular half hour trains to the city centre taking about 10-12 mins. Breakfast was ample and vari... what people say » ed, the room was clean with the benefit of a shared balcony with table and chairs for eating/drinking or just chilling. Car parking on site and free. - excellent room and breakfast. Run by lovely helpful couple Ensured we had a special pass allowing us to travel around area on trains a buses, as far as Basel for FREE.V useful for visiting wine fairs and Freiburg. We did not get chance to eat in restaurant but apparently our host is a well known local chef. However when we arrived back late requesting only a snack they produced a delicious Flamkuchen which they need not have done and was much appreciated.
