The hotel is wonderfully situated at Kurfürstendam. You have all kindsof transportation right outside your windows. U-bahn, S-bahn and severalbuses. There is a wonderful polite and helpful staff at all hours, thehotel is kept very clean and furthermore the hotel is very beautifulinside. We brought our 9 year old son, so we had a nice big triple room.It worked perfectly.We rekommend this hotel. That there was very clean, comfortable room. Also I liked the place where the hotel is located.great location, large room, good "character". the hotel is in the center of berlin. Location was just what we wanted - literally a minute from shops, U-bahn, S-bahn, etc. This is the 3rd or 4th time we've stayed here. Elevator is a disatvantage, it is really hard to reach it, if you have heavy bads, it is a disadvantage. furnishing and capeting of rooms is lightly shabby. I stayed in a room facing on to Joachimstaler Strasse. Traffic noise very loud. Revellers on the street at the weekend also very loud. Distance from Reception to Elevator. The quality/price relation. no espresso machine in the whole hotel, wifi internet was not available from room only from the bar.Weekendrates, no cosierge services - huge steps, we're forced to carry our luggage by our selves! Rooms were not clean enough (for example: used drinking glases / sand on the floor and in bathroom!. no safe in room and very small room .room needs renovation. and staff not friendly. room 206 was awfull bad smell of rotten wood!!. not clean, they didn't clean the room properly. room was quite bad quality and dirty.my room was very close to the bus station. You can imagine the noise, specially at night. no internet, no lift, doors were difficult to open, beds were tiny, rooms didn't have enough light, photos online didn't represent the real hotel.
