Good city location slightly off centre. U-Bahn station only a few minutes walk away. Staff are very friendly & helpful. I stayed in a newly refurbished room which was very nice. Breakfast was extra but worth it - good value for money. A new on-site hotel bar. Lifts to all floors. English widely spoken if required. Stayed at this hotel numerous time. It is my Berlin favourite. Location. Easy quick walk to the BulowstraBe Ubahn station. Restaurants on PotsdamerstraBe around the corner. Wifi was great. I was on the ground floor in the section of the hotel that was only accessible via a quick walk through the hotel's parking area, but therefore the room was QUIET. No noise from the train outside the front. The room also felt newly renovated.
all reviews » The hotel was very clean. The rooms were wide and confortable, very warm in winter. It is located right next to a subway staion, wich makes it really easy to go trough the city. Wifi was avaible. The breakfast is great, really worth the 7.5 Euros. Also, there are a variety of smalls restaurants, bakeries and bars quite close to the hotel, wich is nice. Value was great!. It was a very clean and well looking after hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always willing to give directions/suggestions to places to visit. We didn't spend much time in the hotel (due to it being a stag do) but whenever we were there it was very quiet and were not disturbed. I have stayed at Hotel Aldea Novum Berlin Centrum for 3 days.The hotel location is excellent.It is situated to the Bülowstraße Berlin U-Bahn which can help you to reach all the attractions in the Berlin.The staff in the Hotel is very polite and friendly.I Recommend the hotel. Everything was OK, you can find local store ''kaiser'' or ''lidl'' in 5 mins walk distance. U bahn station (Bülowstraße) is 2 mins by walk and three or four station stops to city center (potsdamer platz etc) and also two stops to kurfürstendamm which is shopping street. A nice, clean and inexpensive hotel with basic amenities.Convenient location - not far from city center, close to 2 metro stations. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and it was very close to two U-bahn stations. The TV was a little small for the distance from the bed, but ultimately it was no big deal. The only thing that I didn't like was that in our main room there wasn't a lamp.The only lamps were for reading.But this is only for our room and it isn't a problem for short trip. just we don't like pillows, they are really very very uncomfortable. If hotel stuff read this topics please change them. No air conditioning. Rooms facing the street can be noisy - metro line runs right in front of the hotel a couple of meters above the street level and on weekends metro runs round the clock. A tension curtain shower rod in the bathroom had to be handled carefully, for it didn't have enough tension and tended to fall down (but could be put back in place quite easily). 1. No air condition. Very noisy location. On front side of hotel trains and traffic exceptionally noisy 24 hours a day but worse is the sound of drunks/down and outs partying all night long. Unbearabble noise from them at times. Not fault of hotel but perhaps Berlin Police should be sorting it out. (Would ask for room at other side if returning). The room was really dark, so it was impossible to work or plan next day's excursions. I asked for an extra lamp, but was told that that was impossible. The neighborhood isn't very interesting, but the u- Bahn is just down the street. No tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. There was dark in the room, despite 3 lamps. The facilities in the room should be better: for example a wasserkocher, some teabags/coffeebags, and a minibar should be definitely in all the rooms of a 3 star hotel. Nothing. at that time of our stay, a neighbouring building is being constructed so the noise in the morning is very heavy, difficult to sleep unless you shut the windows which will make the room warm since it is not airconditioned. Very small bathroom. The lifts are very slow when you need one. It would have been nice to be able to get an evening meal in the hotel. A couple of nights we were quite tired after full on days out. However the bartender did recommend places nearby if we did not want to travel back into the city. there's nothing i could say i didnt like :). Located right next to an elevated U-Bahn line, too noisy at night if you open a window (though windows are very tight and sound insulation perfect). The neighborhood is not the best, mainly international population, but you will just sleep there so it is OK. There is no minibar in the room, which was kind of disappointing. There is no parking lot, we parked the car on the street of the hotel because the front desk people garanteed that we could park there, but apparently we couldn't and we got a parking ticket. When we confronted them about that, they just said it was funny, because it's definitely ok to park there. So we still don't know if it's ok or not. Very small bathroom,they tried to charges us with 4 breakfasts instead of 2. We had to wait for more than 30 minutes for our room to be ready. Constant problems with the wi-fi connection. The staff could perhaps be a little more friendlier. Neighborhood is rather dodgy, with hookers hanging about nearby. Wifi was accessible only in the lobby, not in the room. It is very noisy if your room is from the side of the U Bahn; year plugs are a must. The colours used in the room could be a bit more warm. But this is just a personal preferrence. No tea or coffee facilites in the room. Hair dryer didn't work (Didn't bother me as I don't need to blow my hair). The hos are all over Bülowstreet, but they are pretty. Breakfast is only continental. Small bathroom, but could be worse. I did not like the fact that when I arrived, they had no booking for me despite my having confirmation from letsbookhotel.com printed out. They claimed that letsbookhotel.com had not sent them the booking. The wifi is unstable. The parking is not free. all was fine. Rooms were a bit loud but nothing terrible - bringing earplugs would be a good idea, however. the breakfast had not great variety. Nothing negative. All good!. No tea/coffe making facilities in room. Very small shower room. No fridge or kettle in the rooms.
