The hotel exceeded my expectations. It was excellent value for money. I have noting negative to say about it. I would strongly recommended it to any of my associates - gay or straight and certainly I would stay there again if my agenda happens to bring to Berlin. The staff was great and the location could not have been better for seeing what we wanted. Enjoyed talking with staff and other guests, Breakfast good as well. i spent 1 night there 21.12.09. Floors creaky; was OK in our room but rooms off the main corridor might have been quite noisy. Recommended, but only right for certain kinds of travellers. We certainly really enjoyed our stay there. Breakfast concept needs some attention. it is aqn old building and the floors to creak. the pillows and the steel bed was not very comfortable. My bed was too small for my height. I didn't like the location of the hotel in the buidling with too old elevator!!..it was like an apartment on the 3rd floor, with old noisy surface. My room was at the back and was much noise in the early morning coming from the kids school at the back of the hotel. The bed was so hard and the toilets were not so clean, very old towels!.. I don't recommend this hotel. It's very expensive.staff could have been friendly. they seemed to be hiding most of the time.

From Schönefeld airport, you can use a taxi or opt for public transport.
Take the Airport Express train to the Zoologischer Garten railway station. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes.

From Berlin Hauptbahnhof (central railway station), you can take the city rail (S-Bahn) for Wannsee, Spandau or Westkreuz and descend at the Zoologischer Garten railway station. From the station, you can use a taxi or take the U2 undergound line as indicated above.
