  The current owner has made considerable efforts to renovate and modernize this 460-year-old property. The dining room in the main house is elegant, with wonderful menu selections and with windows looking out onto the main road. The breakfast room is spacious with comfortable seating; the assortment of breakfast foods was a great start to the day (... what people say » dry cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, breads, sliced meats and cheeses, soft- boiled eggs, teas, coffee). The former stables have been converted into guest - The hotel room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable after a long drive. Food served in the courtyard was excellent but if you don't like rabbits and guinea pigs sharing the courtyard with you you might not be so enthusiastic about this hotel.
