the size and cleanliness of the apartment. A surprisingly wonderful location, simple and clean room just steps from the baths.we didn't stay in this hotel. we were transfered to others. The location of the facility was excellent. A stones throw from eveything Baden-Baden had to offer. The beds were very comfortable, room was a good size and if it hadn't been so cold (we were there mid-December) the balcony was an excellent addition we'd not expected too. Although we saw no staff, the manner of the representative over the telephone was pleasant and informative.

The room wasclean and spacious, and other than one night with new people checking innext door it was fairly quiet. We had an upgrade in the first night and free parking which was very kind of the owner. Great location near the center of town. This is not a dislike, just a clarification for future travelers--Room was not at "the" apartments - apparently there are rooms/apartments used around the city. Be sure to have a city map with you and check in early to allow time to find your final destination. There is not a "check-in desk", the owner meets you at the B and B Apartments. Recommend calling first to coordinate. It's not clear when you arrive what you need to do re; check in. There are no staff based onsite. We didn't see anyone throughout the duration of our stay. In the end we had phone up to access a key safe to get into the building (at 11.30pm-check in is between 2 and 6pm). Also, couldn't get the shower to work initially (turn it on at the base 1hr before use and pump when using). No toilet lock. The room was on the fourth floor, and after climbing a small hill to getto the place, carrying luggage up the stairs was quite tiring. I wouldeither ask for a room on a lower level or not stay there again. Also, wewere allowed to use the laundry, but were only told after it was donethat there would be a charge - she did not charge us after we expressedconcern, but be aware of hidden charges. We have to paid by cash which used up most of our holiday money and was not explained properly to us before we book.The showers were confusing to use. the network is out of service , there's no hot water , the heater was broken. One step from the shower cabin to the bed, because they put the shower cabin in the midle of the room! Like a youth hostel , not a hotel with stars... There is nearly no hot water and the room is very cold since the heating is closed. The bed is a little bit short for tall people.I had booked one apartment, when I arrived they bring me one double room ( there were not heating and it was in November! we cannot sleep in all the night, we have not wc in the room, the TV didn’t work). After all that I called them and the answer I received was: that for this price I can only have that !! After that i have made a legal claim. No contact with staff. Rooms over priced. No contact back from my phone call to the company. No check up to see everything was ok with me. No possibility for breakfast. No contact about using internet which I needed. No instructions in the room to work the hot water. No information if there was an office or headquaters.Dirty room, smelly toilet, poor shower, no hot water.
