Amazing location just around the corner from the palace. Very near to a selection of traditional bistros and restaurants which were not crazily priced for Paris! Very quiet in the hotel and the family rooms spacious. Breakfast was a bit limited for choice but good value if travelling with children 12 and under as they ate for free! Underground parking very good and reasonable at €15 per day but large 4x4 cars might struggle as it was quite tight to get in and around! Reception staff helpful wit.

The hotel has recently been refurbished so everything is new and the free WiFi worked strongly in our room. I liked the friendly english-speaking staff and the proximity to the front gates of the Palace of Versailles. Their buffet breakfast was very substantial, if a little pricey. A modern hotel with good facilities, and well placed for sightseeing. The possibility of secure parking if arriving by car, as on street parking impossible to find. Good quality efficient hotel. Parking a bit scary but OK. the room was a bit cramped otherwise OK. We thought that the continental breakfast (priced at 15 euro's per adult) was way too expensive - and probably explains why all the guest appeared to be eating outside the hotel. breakfast over priced, no choice of hot dishes, toilet seat flimsy. Poor lighting. Having no tea making or mini fridge facilities. For a 4-star hotel with these prices the rooms are utterly modest and their facilities poor: no boiler for tea and coffee, no mini-bar, no ironing plank etc. The hotel's bar closes at 1 AM regardless of the guests present. Room was very basic with no tea/coffee making or in fact cups. Expensive for the facilities. You are paying for location. Rooms seemed a bit dated. Bathrooms had recently been upgraded and that was good. The room was large for a hotel in Europe but it just seemed dated and old. Blankets on bed were old and worn. When we asked front desk for extra sheets, they didn't know what we meant - that should be a simple request in a hotel. Nothing really, perhaps friendlier staff at the reception would have been nice. Poor confort for the price and the ranking. Lift is very slow and small to serve 5 levels. 2 shower heads did not work at all. So used bath was too late to call some to rectify as needed to use facilities immediately. It's a 3 star hotel nowhere near 4 Overpriced for what it delivers. This is not a 4 star it's a maximum of 2.5 as there were no amenities I.E. No fridge,hot beverage facilities or anything. Also could not have any food in room as this was police because of a health problem !!!. The beds are horibul with hard plastic under the linin. Very poor mattress to sleep on. Poor TV reception , and very small flat screen that did not work. Poor decorations. No facilities at all, the secure parking wasn't secure and was a complete nightmare to use, we got the feeling the hotel was run to benefit the staff not to meet the expectations of the customers. How this hotel got four stars is beyond belief No room safe. No room mini bar No tea or coffee making facilities. The foyer looks great in the photos but that's where it ends. OVERPRICED. OVER RATED Maximu 2 stars.
