Helpful staff, clean and attractive rooms, excellent location. Connecting rooms helpful as we had children. Hotel has been transformed since I stayed there 25 years ago! We would happily stay there again. Position of the hotel in the old town - lovely views of the town from our bedroom windows. Helpful friendly staff. Very sufficient breakfast - much better than some I have come across in French hotels.

The rooms are small, but thats why its good value, but a tad noisy with "out of hours" comings and goings, e.g. laundry at 6am.Car parking is limited but we were on a motorbike which was very easy.There was some street noise at night which we could hear because we hadthe window open. The lack of parking. The hotel have a very small car park that is shared with a block of flats and the spaces are on a first come first served basis. Get there early.The elevator is very narrow. Yes the breakfast was too expensive when we travel in the us a thisalways is inclusive in room charge.After all it was only a continentaland not even a full English Breakfast.Kept awake by loud party on second night. Apologies in morning but no offer of any recompense. room was quite small. finding it! with a lousy map from the web site. Breakfast was unnecessarily large and therefore expensive. I am sorry we could not book a place in the carpark when booking the room and had to make sure we arrived promptly to get a place.
