  Basic but clean and comfortable. We stayed here with our two dogs for one night en route to Italy. There was a lake close by for walking the dogs and a nice little restaurant next door for food and drink before going to bed after a very long drive. Receptionist spoke Good English and printed off our directions for our destination with a smile and n... what people say » o charge. Basic breakfast for 8 euros which was fine. Perfect for a stop over but probably wouldn't want to stay more than a couple of nights. - friendliness of staff and helpfulness

  Great location for ski lift and access to La Plange ski area. Staff could not have been more helpful. Enjoyed the living room bar area and the restaurant was good for evening meals. WIFI access in rooms and living area was great for the kids "who need to be connected" 24/7 - This is a really friendly little place - the owners are a lovely couple ... what people say » who go out of their way to make things comfortable and easy and the other staff are fabulous too. Highly recommended!

  Right opposite stn, you could hardly miss your train! Convenient bar/cafe even if scruffy/dodgy - ok for male travellers or non fussy females as a small group. Room had everything necessary - VERY close to Chambery train / bus station. Rooms have been refurbished somewhat in recent years.

  We liked the position of the hotel, a short walk up the hill and you were in the city center. A short drive to lake Bourget. The size of the room was good and it was well equipped. - large one bedroom apartment. secure underground parking, location as just in the middle of the town. The flat was very good value, no kettle but a coffee machine?
