We were immediately upgraded on arrival to the largest room in the hotel - which clearly added something to our overall experience! However, the staff were very friendly, the breakfast was very good, the overally condition of the hotel was good and the location was excellent (2 minutes walk from the arc de triomphe). Would recommend this hotel as a well placed, affordable, upper end set-up.

Breakfast is expensive, though, but all hotels in paris are charging expensive for breakfast. There is a McDonald and French croisant chain store nearby (2 min walking), so there is no problem for breakfast. Location is good. 5min walking to subway, Charles de Gaule Etoile, Champ-elysees. My mother used her wheelchair during our stay in Paris and the staff were very attentive to our needs. Overall, the staff were friendlly, helpful and polite. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was excellent value. The location was so convenient for us to easily walk to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees. The hotel is on a quiet road and the area was safe to walk at night. The Hotel was very clean and our room was very clean and comfortable.They allowed our small dog. The staff were happy people, pleasant,friendly and helpful. The room was decent size Double Club room) andvery clean, comfortable(nice linens) and we even had a small balcony.Metro was very close. I think the Magda compares fantastically to expensive hotels. Excellent location. All rooms in Paris run smaller than elsewhere, so size is not an issue. Magda has a tremendous value to it. You get a lot for your dollar. The location was great and the staff very helpful, especially the nice receptionist who took a lot of her time to give us good advices. The rooms were a good size for Paris, well looked after and the area was quiet.
