Good for budget trip. Staff were friendly and helpful when asked. Excellent location, particuarly if using the metro and for local patisseries. Clean towels daily and friendly cleaning staff. 24 hour surveillance and reception. Very secure and felt very safe as there is a buzz system at all times to enter building.

The location was excellent and value for money given it was in the Paris
locale. The continental breakfast was fresh and the service prompt. In
particular - the cleanliness was excellent.
The room was small but clean, staff not too friendly and didn't speak English, so it was quite difficult to speak with them. Wifi perfect! .. Access to my room at third floor difficult.
I liked the accomodative nature of the hotel to allow us to check in earlier than the normal check in time. I was very pleased with the service.

Our room was very quiet though the hotel is located in a very busy street. It was warm and clean.
Some of the staff were friendly, the hotel is situated at a busy
location which is never boring.

This is billed as a smoke-free hotel. It's impossible to get away from the cigarette smoke in the hotel. In our room wafts of smoke drifted from the painters in other rooms in the hotel, to smokers in the enclosed atrium. I emailed letsbookhotel.com and got not reply. I complained to the staff daily. Would not stay there again for that reason.
No information about our stay proactively given. Was not told that card that secured booking on letsbookhotel.com would be charged automatically. This caused inconvenience as cash had already been exchanged to pay for the stay. Noisy location at all hours and uncomfortable beds. Was also not told that we should give our key to reception if staying out past a certain time - this caused upset to the late night reception as you have to buzz the get in and he was unaware that we were out as no key.
unfortunately we got room in 4th floor with a luggage and stroller without lift to go. though in good side that we slept peacefully without any noise from downside.
The stairs! We were on the fourth floor - if you aren't fit - this
is a real issue for any would be guests. The biggest issue - nothing to
do withn the hotel were the vagrants who "dossed" in the
streets - they cused a lot of truble and were incredibly noisy - a
significant pest that Paris must rid herself of!.
I still thin value .vs. service is not fair. And you can't cancel your booking which is very inconvenient.
Although it wasn't a complaint for me personally, hope your luggage
aren't too heavy. No elevator here. Staff friendliness tends to
shift heavily depending on who is working that shift.
the bathroom was clean but oldish. Taps and bath need to be changed.
The bathroom tiles and the birth are dirty,they look like bleach is used
to soaked them when they were dirty but were left unwashed. The toilet
brush was very dirty.

2. in the preferences when booking pointed out "1 or 2 floor". Suggested 4floor, no Elevator. Hardly gave 2nd floor;.

The staff was rude. The hotel gave you no soap, shampoo, etc. The supplied hand towels as bath towels. Sometimes you had to wait 10+ minutes to even be buzzed through at the front door. Location in a party zone on the weekends.
It hasn't been decorated since the 1980s. The staff were rude and when it rained at 2am in the morning our roof started leaking beside the bed. They had no other rooms available.
I guess you pay for what you get.
