This is a beautiful hotel in the center of core Paris resulting in having all top spots (sightsing, restaurants and shopping) within walking distance. The hotel consists of 6 floors and we enjoyed a standard room (nr. 66 – Justine & Charles) on the 6th floor. The room was of good standard (great standard by Paris measurements from what I’ve been learned) consisting of a twin bed (140 cm), an armchair and a smaller secretary. Our window faced the back yard and was really nothing to special .
all reviews » This hotel experience was superb. The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly, which is extremely welcome in a city known for hostility to visitors. The rooms and common areas look superb and recently renovated. The deluxe double room we stayed in was lovely and had a very comfortable washroom and shower. Daily turndown service was an added and unexpected bonus. The wellness center offered a tranquil and relaxing pool and sauna which, while petite, were luxurious. We would unquestionably rec. Everything was perfect and the hotel staff couldn't be more helpful. Our honeymoon was made even better by this amazing hotels location only a 10 minute walk to the Louvre and excellent Metro connections. After a long day of sightseeing the pool and sauna were a welcoming sight for tired legs. We booked La Maison Favart at short notice and we are so glad we did! Not only was it everything we were looking for in a romantic French boutique hotel for our honeymoon, but it was impeccable service and facilites which made it just perfect! Thank you. The staff was friendly and the interior of the hotel was great. My only critique of the hotel is the breakfast, which we didn’t consider to be good value for money (24 € / person and day). The choices on the buffet are quite limited compared to other hotels and the breakfast room is really small only seating 12-16 people. The tables are small and the service not fast enough resulting in us placing plates and bowls on the neighboring tables in order to fit just the basics. Nothing. Not much at all to dislike. Staff could be a little friendlier but really the only point. Think there should be the option to include breakfast in the price. The staff are v professional but this trip I didn't feel quite as special as they made me feel in February. This time it was more run of the mill service rather Han exceptional service. Poor breakfast (no hot meals, porridge or boiled eggs). I felt it was a little expensive, the room was quite small for the money but then this is the centre of Paris I guess. Perhaps I am getting old!. Nothing, it was great!. small rooms no suite. nothing. It's very expensive for what you get and it's a little far from the main attractions, although in a nice neighborhood.
