My family with our two young children (6 and 2 y.o.) absolutely enjoyed this hotel, having spent a lovely 4 days in Paris, this hotel partly influenced our impressions on staying in Paris. - rooms were spacious and equipped with all modern amenities (AC, TV, WiFI, which worked very well and large bathrooms). Our room looked at a quite street and opened a view to Eiffel Tower. - staff was very nice and helpful many times, for example in explaining where to but tickets for Disney Land Paris or h.
all reviews » The hotel was very quiet and peaceful even though we arrived on Saturday. The Concierge was pleasant and humorous and also helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and in good taste. The breakfast was very nice and good value. The hotel was in walking distance of the Louvre and the Eiffel Tour. There were some good eating places nearby. It was good hotel for a city break and not too expensive. Very pleasant and peaceful with a feeling of a Family run business. We loved this hotel. The breakfast was fantastic. It included a variety of wonderful french breads, cheeses, yogurt, etc. Our room was fine (quad room for 4 people). The furnishings and beds were comfortable. The location is great - convenient to walk to the Eiffel Tower, Rodin Museum, and the Louvre. The location was excellent. Everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance.The room was nice and clean.There were good places to eat around the hotel. The staff was nice and friendly and helped us with directions and transportation requests. We will definitely stay here again. I liked absolutely everything. Employees, bedroom, bathroom, bed, breakfast, cleaning, mattress, pillow. We were 7 people and stayed in two rooms: one triple and one quadruple. They were very comfortable and spacious. Public transportation is good, so choosing this hotel for walking distance location wasn't as important as I thought. Rodin museum 1/2 block away nice parklike place. the location is great! We walked everywhere in Paris and this location worked great. We had a large family room and it gave us space to settle in for 4 nights. It was quiet and secure. We had an unpleasant experience with Paris and pickpocketing on our way through to Venice in the first part of our holiday. This area was clean and we could walk around and feel safe. The location was excellent out of the fast paced activity of the city center. We could walk to and from attractions and the location of public transportation was convenient. - Family rooms were relatively large and comfortable, and pretty uncommon in Paris - Location is great! - Excellent for families with children. The receptionist do speak good english as well.oh yes, the room is spacious enough for the kids. Hotel is a basic 3 star hotel, staff were very helpful. The hotel was not as close to the Eiffel tower as we would have liked. If booking for a family make sure you book the family suite. good value for money if you are looking for a no thrills hotel. Also we did not know it was French school holidays so crowds and ques were bad. Doors into the room were hard to open!. Very narrow elevator, a wifi that disconnects constantly. Looks much better on photos but ok in reality. This is an embassy area with high security and small guarded vehicles driving around. Not as active as latin quarter. Not many places to eat in the area BUT we did find the crepery just down the street and Charles, the owner, was a delight and fed us well. The staff were not great at answering our questions / language translation maybe, but a small local map of the hotel and metro stops, local restaurants and sites would have helped. The heavy fire doors. Nothing. - breakfast; could be improved slightly by reducing on cheeses and introducing a choice of hams. I wish the front desk could have spoke more english. Everything was satisfactory, nothing to dislike. small disadvantage with the size of elevator/lift as hard to fit with pram, but achievable! any way old building so cannot expect much.. The days we stayed scaffolding was being contructed on the front of building..right in front of our room. The noise was incredible, starting early in the morning. We left and returned for one more night..the windows we sealed shut with plastic. I think there should have been a price adjustment. The noise was unreal. We should have been told ahead of time about construction to the hotel. Room was much smaller than anticipated and it was for three people. - I would have preferred to find some ham for breakfast rather than too much cheese. Didn't have meals, best described as adequate. Nothing. The interior is too classic (read: not modern) to my likings and the elevator is quite small (common issue in Paris hotel?) and the breakfast offered is a simple one. Expensive but given that it was midterm and Valentines day it was inevitable. Bad shower. I staied in a family room, so the 2 aditinal bed were not very good. completely overpriced and old even stuffy. Paid for a 'superior' double room though to get to the room we had to go up 2 flights of stairs with our luggage and 1 of them had a spiral staircase. Asked for a taxi when leaving and they didn't manage to get hold of one, saying its best to walk to the bus stop with luggage if you please. Told them the toilet was not flushing properly and nothing was done about it. Habitacion ridiculamente pequena. No dining room. No elevator. We were on third floor; good thing we had our 17 yr old to muscle the luggage up winding stairs. Very, very cramped rooms. Room was drab and didn't t feel clean... The staff is absolutely not friendly, I was received by a person at the front desk screaming at me because I brought 2 children instead of one. The second one was a baby y the way, they made me pay a triple room because of this.
