We enjoyed the lovely decor, comfortable bed and nicely-sized room (recommend the Supreme). The hotel is in a lovely part of the city, very near La Madeleine as well as several designer shops. It is off the beaten path just enough to enjoy peace and quiet. Every staff member we encountered was professional, friendly and accommodating. We had a memorable anniversary dinner at the wonderful "Visconti" restaurant located up the street from the hotel. Fine wine, scrumptious veal and the best crème .
all reviews » The staff were awesome and was always willing to assist us despite the time. I arrived pretty late and they organized a perfect resaurant for us which was fabulous. Typical french restaurant( Tante Louise). If you would like to economise, you probably check another one. I will definately visit it again. What I really appreciated was allowing me to keep my suitcases at the hotel for approximately 3 hrs despite that I had already chech out. i was travelling with my Sister and although the bed was a double rather than a twin, as requested - we were upgraded to an apartment - which was wonderful: a bathroom each! Very helpful approachable staff and the hotel was blissfully clean, comfortable and peaceful, as well as being beautifully decorated. Great location for the Metro and eating/ shopping and free wifi much appreciated. We loved it and would return in a second. This hotel was amazing. There is nothing I can fault with it. The staff were excellent, catering for all our needs. The room was very clean and spacious with a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. For anyone visiting then I would recommend Room 707. The location of the hotel in Madeline is perfect. Its two mins walk to the metro and then only 5 mins to Champs Elysees. Would recommend to anyone visiting Paris!!. The staff were quiet accommodating because when we complained about the Internet service in the room we were moved from a double room with extra bed into an apartment, which is essential a two bedroom suite. This was quite generous of them considering we just booked online coming a disaster accommodation we had previously booked in Paris. It's on a very quiet street a few minutes walk from champs élysées. My room was quite spacious by Parisian standards. Very quiet, comfortable. Within walking distance of Champs Elysées and major stores (Printemps, Galeries Lafayette). The hotel is a charm. Typically Parisian, with a nice decoration, a beautiful restaurant and a cozy bar. It is very quiet, with very attentive staff. The location is unbeatable, so much so that I'm at this hotel every time I go to Paris. The service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The room we had was generous by Paris standards and having French doors that allowed us to have fresh air was a bonus. Well positioned for sight seeing and shopping. I asked for 2 separate beds and when we arrived, we realized that it was a double bed, but I must admit that they made sure to change the rooms without any additional charges. I guess the comfort of the guest is their #1 priority. Not much to change - the breakfast was a bit limited for the price - and it would have been good to have tea/ coffee in the rooms. The rooms require an update. Quite aged but comfortable. Breakfast was expensive at 20€ pp but was very nice. Having "old type bulky" keys (not electronic) for room and safe, towels could be newer and softer, things like shoe-spoon, sewing kit, slippers would be nice. Electric kettle in the room could be a nice addition. Breakfast price - when you have 4 people in the family - it's too costly. Double room was much smaller than twin. The breakfast could be a bit better, but the restaurant itself is amazing. Nothing. As I have mentioned on other occasions, the rooms could be renovated in general. The bed sheets are of good quality but the bath towels should be replaced urgently. They are thin, frayed. What is not to like about good service and an excellent location. I will be back. Felt that the quality of the bathroom linens were not at the same level as the rest of the experience. Also road noise was a distraction. The air conditioning in our room was quite poor. Perhaps tea/coffee making facilities in the room, would have been a bonus. Breakfast for EUR 20 added on the top of the room price, one would expect more variety in such case. The cost was a little high and full payment was necessary up-front (I've never had that happen before)... but really anywhere else in Paris is at least as expensive so don't take this negative too seriously. It's very expensive!. Wifi connection wasnt the fastest in the world, but it was manageable and didnt cause any trouble (no hanging etc.), so i wouldnt hold this against the hotel. A waterboiler in the room to make tea would make it really perfect. Coffee machine was not available, you have to order your tea or coffee from the hotel! the road is bit noisy if you have to sleep with an opn window, rest all is ok. The cleaners when came in our room after we had put the do not disturb sign on our door. No slippers at the hotel they should take care of it. We had 3 people staying in the room. From the pictures it appeared there would be 3 single beds. We had king and a mobile bed. It was still comfortable but not what we expected. Also the carpets could have used a cleaning. Otherwise the hotel was excellent. The toilet was seperated from the bathroom. The bed a little hard for our liking. 16m2 double room is small but acceptable. Eating in the hotel and/or in surrounding area is expensive. Hair dryer poor and broke. We unfortunately had upstairs above us a couple who fought the threw things for 3 days. Staff said they would have changed our room if we had asked. No included breakfast as is the rule in many European hotels. Restaurant and bar closed early. Cable tv also ended early on most channels. Shower had only a half door, unavoidable to not get bathroom floor wet. Nothing really. Nothing. The food from room service wasn't that great. Coffee machine in room would be a bonus. Would be nice to have a pair of slipper to better 'transit' from the outside to the comfy inside of the bedroom; not a severe drawback, but would definitively be a plus ;-). nothing!. Typical city hotel, room was a bit small and its not the Ritz but would look forward to a return visit to the Bedford.
