  William, the manager there was excellent and most most helpful to us , I was very impressed with his efficiency and initiative thinking . It was a very convieinent location being a flight traveller and lots of good things about it .   Eventhough the exterior of the hotel doesn't look as nice, the rooms are very clean, nicely decorated with all updated amenities. The room is big and bathroom is spacious. The rate for this hotel is also very budget-friendly. Overall, we really enjoy our stay at hotel Italia.   Hotel is situated in a quite area on the opposite side of the river to the town. A short walk across the bridge and your are in the centre. The rooms were good and we had a ground floor room which opened onto a small area with outside seating which was great as it was hot. No air con but as it was quiet we could leave window open. The onsite parking was a bonus and being able to park right outside your room was good.

  Very confortable bed and clean room. Big bathroom. Hot water all thetime. A big super market, a restaurant and gas station in the nearby.Wireless internet in the rooms. No nasty smells. Good value for money. - Our limited french, the staff were very helpful in trying to speak english.

  Stayed there 3 nights while we went to le mans to watch the motogp. Close to motorway and airport. In comercial area, lots of shops, restaurants, etc. Clean and comfortable hotel. Excellent staff especially Wally. Helped us to sort everything out when our motorbike broke down. Left it there to be fixed then flying back to pick it up. Airport 1.5km... what people say » away. Great value for money with excellent service, would definetly stay there again if we pass through france. - Despite the slightly amusing name, this is a great little “budget” hotel. The room is not huge, but was clean and comfortable, had a small desk, TV etc. The bed was good. It is a “wet room” bathroom, again clean and perfectly functional. Breakfast was excellent value and the good selection set us up for most of the day! The staff were very friendly and pleasant and like other “motel style” hotels, the parking was good and free.

  I initially booked this B&B because of it's secure parking on site. This was perfect for our purpose, and much more besides. Our Saint Martin room was charming, clean, well designed and very peaceful. The grounds are charming and the location is walkable in to Tours. The owners were very polite and helpful and we really couldn't fault our stay... what people say » . - Dominique and Virginie are the perfect hosts. They made us welcome from the first minute, and did everything they could to help us to enjoy the beautiful city of Tours. La Héraudière is a lovely house with a delightful garden, and our room was stylish and comfortable. Breakfast was a particular pleasure.

The food was excellent, although the menu was limited and didn't change for the three nights we were there. Tours is a very upmarket and cosmopolitan area with lots of historical sites.   We booked this hotel at the last minute. We hadn't researched like normal and had no idea what to expect. We only went on reviews for our booking. We arrived around 9:00 PM. Wow! The initial impression of Art Hotel is fantastic! It is a very old stately looking mansion that is now a hotel. We drove up the windy lane that leads to the hotel. The host Pierre-Antoine was delightful and helped us book the gourmet restaurant Charles Barrier nearby. We stayed one night, then went cycling through Loire and returned 5 days later. They kept our bags and had them in the room. Great service! The rooms are astonishing. This design hotel mixes the baroque beautiful castle with very modern black-and-white design elements. The rooms in the castle are huge and of very high standards.
