It was on a direct bus route to the port, important as we were going to Corsica. It was within walking distance of the railway station where we could catch the 99 bus to the airport(4 euros each!). The seafront and shopping were less than five minutes away and we also had a good choice of local restaurants. A bar, nice lounge, internet access for on line flight check in, garden for breakfasting outdoors, perfect also for after dinner drinks. Very helpful, courteous staff at front desk and bar.Short walk to Promenade Anglais.

I've answered yes to question about guest reviews, I thought that some adverse reviews reflected unrealistic expectations of a 3 star hotel. It was fine. We stayed in 2 rooms, both of which were very satisfactory.The windows require to be closed at night, reliant on the air-conditioning which could be more effective. The 4th floor is only accessible through the staircase off the 3rd floor (not a big deal for us but may be an issue for older travellers).No, as I found the hotel great value for money. If you need to iron your cloths you have to go downstairs, which is not very camfortable I think.Sometimes it was a little bit noisy. At €12, breakfast was a little overpriced for a fairly standard menu. small. Some english speaking channels on the t.v. would have been nice.Hard to park nearby. no parking lot. We settled the bill the night before leaving but were told we hadn't paid by new staff the following morning thus delaying our departure while they checked again through their records. There is a tiny sign on the desk telling guests that if they need a taxi in Nice it must be booked the day before. We did not notice the sign and therefore had to walk to our destination in Nice. This peculiarity with Nice taxis needs to be brought to the attention of every guest checking in.No pressure on the hot shower. Rooms were billed as being 'superior' and the photos suggested this. In reality, the rooms were not what we would call a superior quality and did not have all the advertised features. When queried, the hotel reception advised us that 'superior' was in fact 'standard'.Bedroom was rather shabby. Plastic door curtain/closure to bath of guest room.Rooms and corridors starting to be in need of a quick update and fresh coat of paint. Interesting ceiling tiles in the bedrooms!. The room I had was only a single room, but was so tight I could noteven open my suitcase anywhere in the room, and leave it open. As perthe reviews the Reception area and dining areas were modern, but theroom I stayed in very dated, and certainly looked nothing like the oneson the Internet. It was also quite a long walk from the centre of theaction in Nice.I never could access the internet. The keyboard was always on a different language. Ready for a face lift but otherwise comfortable.It was a little bit expensive. No hot water in shower at 1030am, ok at other times.Rooms in need of an update, inability to use electrical items in room. The only thing we didn't like was when we got back to the hotel after being out for the night and wanted a drink from the bar (or even just ice) we weren't allowed.Breakfast was very expensive. Bathroom in our room not wonderful,but in other rooms was better. Rather basic furnishings. Toilet not working first day. Security shutter not working .
