  Very friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff. Everything is nice and clean. A good value for the money. Realistic advertise of the place and no bad surprises; just as expected!   The location to Mont Saint Michel was excellent. The rooms are all you would need for a night or two. It would receive a perfect score if the beds were comfortable. - Staff were friendly, helpful and as we didn't speak French their English was good. Held our bags in reception when we went to mont st Michael. Very good breakfast.

  I had booked the wrong night,. but the gentleman was happy to change the night for the night prior with no extra charge, he was really helpful. Bathrooms are great, rooms clean, towels big and fluffy. Right on the railway track but couldn't hear a thing. Nice bathroom accessories and even tea/coffee making facilities in room (unusual in France!). The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a shuttle bus from almost outside the hotel directly to Mont St Michel, so could leave the car in the hotel car park. We had an excellent breakfast which was free for the children.

  What a great B&B! Daniela and Kim made us feel very welcome and had good information about visiting Le Mont St. Michel. We arrived in the late morning, left the car at the B&B and walked up to Le Mont. When we returned, we told Daniela that we had purchased some wine and some Calvados (don't miss trying the Calvados...after all, this is th... what people say » e home of the stuff) and she immediately provided us with appropriate glassware. What a treat...we'd been drinking wine out of plastic cups for a coup - We loved everything! Danielle is the perfect host. The B&B is in walking distance to the shuttle to Mount St. Michel. The rooms are meticulously designed to be warm and inviting. Danielle herself is charming, down to earth and extremely helpful. We were very lucky to get a room here at such a late notice. I recommend her lovely rooms to young and mature travelers. We only stayed one night but hope to return to Mount St. Michel and to this B&B in the very near future. Thank you Daniell

  Les Belles de Mai is a comfortable renovated home in the heart of Pontorson, within easy walking distance to excellent restaurants, and located only 10 kilometers from Mont St-Michel. The owner speaks fluent English and was very helpful in providing us with information about visiting Mont St-Michel. She even phoned a taxi in another city to arrang... what people say » e for luggage transfer for us since we were traveling by bicycle. The home has a lovely garden with seating that guests can enjoy on a warm day. While - Beatrice was a wonderful host: upon arrival, she provided several pamphlets outlining various attractions. The room was a wonderful surprise: very elegantly decorated and it really showed Beatrice's attention to detail. Everything was provided, from bath robes to cotton pads and Q-tips. It was definitely a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was also equally as impressive with the large and impressive spread that Beatrice provided. I would highly recommend this B&B!
