Bedrooms at the back of this hotel, are only accessible by stairs. The breakfast was ok but not very exciting. expensive breakfast. They did not have any onsite parking facilities. No tea and coffee making facilities in room. Small room, not properly aired when I arrived. Window towards a busy intersection, cannot keep it open at night because of the noise; this can be problematic in hot weather. The window is properly soundproofed though, so when you close it there is no problem. Also a street light fell directly onto the bed, so curtain has to be closed at night. Of course, the latter applies only to my room. lack of tea coffee making facilities in the room. an escalator would have been preferred. Rooms very small and very little selection for tv channels. room was too small. I ordered a double room for use by me alone so i expected a bit more space. But it was still a small room and the large bed blocked any movement. basic amenities. Had a room in the basement (wasn't aware the hotel had a basement) which was very cold with no view. Breakfast was very basic. Below 3 star standard. The heating did not work properly, we missed a lamp at the desk for working, a tiny room for a 3 star hotel.the furnishings and drab decor which spoiled a once lovely old hotel. room in the basement; welcome not very friendly; no way to get information about the city.
