  We stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom gite. It's all on the ground floor; living space in the centre with the ensuite double to the back and the twin to the front. The family bath off the living space has a good size shower. The twin has a door to the street and is the only room where you hear your neighbours in the connecting gite (they're above... what people say » you so any kids running around are clearly heard). The nearby beach is fabulous. Just be aware that the first couple of meters is large pebbles so a - - location

  Escalles is a small village in countryside at the foot of the Cap Blanc Nez so extremely convenient as a first stop after or last stop before the Tunnel/Ferry Crossing at Calais and not far from the a16 motorway. We had pre- booked at the hotel an - We really liked the location of this small, friendly hotel, it was clean, comfortable and very convenient for The shuttle and nearby towns such as Calais and Wissant, likewise Citieurope. The staff were friendly and efficient and the breakfast was served quickly and was plentiful. For a 2 star hotel we were very impressed

Self catering - washing machine , fridge / freezer, microwave , kettle , toaster , plates , etc. Parking outside cottage , private garden, easy access to town centre by car.   We were delayed because of channel tunnel train breakdowns, and so I phoned ahead and the staff had arranged to leave the keys for us. When we eventually arrived at 2.30 am in a full blown storm we were never to relieved to find a warm cosy apartment. Dog friendly too, and parking was right outside the door - so handy in such dreadful weather. Sta... what people say » ff were very friendly - we really appreciated their good English. Will definitely be staying there again next time we make the journey. - Everything was good, the man on reception who I think was the owner was very helpful, He even upgraded our room to a suite when we said we didn't fancy climbing up lots of stairs to the 2nd floor.No lift Breakfast was adequate. The beach was just across the road. We stayed there overnight on the way to the ferry terminal at Calais which is about 15 mins drive along the autoroute.
