  Mother and daughter traveling through the "pays basque", we choose on internet to stay in the "chateau du clair de Lune" and that's one of the best idea! It's just perfect. We e - Great hotel with good rooms and well located. It would be tricky without a car as its about 5km from Biarritz town centre. We stayed in the Hunting Lodge in the Lavender room which was very a comfortable room with a balcony. The pool area is very relaxing and the small pool bar was perfect for a few drinks and a salad during the day. We had a great time here.

  We so enjoyed our stay. Old fashioned for the ambiance and modern where it was needed. Such a pleasant change from the anonymous modernity of most hotels. the owners were delightfully helpful and friendly. Very convenient location, comfortable beds, immaculately clean and well decorated, which bearing in mind our visit was at the end of the season... what people say » is good. We so enjoyed it we spent an extra night there. highly recommended, we'll being staying again if we visit Biarritz. - The staff were incredibly helpful and very nice. The location was absolutely perfect and, although the parking was on the street and as you could find it, we managed to get a spot right next to the hotel. The room was very big and lovely. I loved the separate 'walk-in-robe'. Such a gorgeous town, a pity the weather wasn't very good. Definitely a place I will be going back to and this is where I would stay again.

  Lovely comfy bed. The hotel was small but in a great location in town, quiet but central. Nice courtyard but we didn't use it. Took breakfast in local cafes instead. - Very friendly staff, who could not do enough to assist where required; far beyond the call of duty! Excellent location for the city and also for the sea side.

Since there is no elevator, and I was staying for just one night traveling with a heavy suitcase following a business trip, I was offered a room on a lower floor and the staff carried my bag to the room. They provided a map of the city and directions to local sites.
