  I had the best time 4 days at Chateau de Crécy. Besides being so close to Saint Emilion and other great places of interest, the family who owns it is very friendly, helpful and really cares that you have a wonderful time. They own the vineyard and produce their own kinds of Bordeaux wines (red, white and rosé). I even got to walk among the vines, ... what people say » taste the grapes and had the fantastic chance to see the day they bottle 27.000 bottles, arranged them and put them away for later labeling. Martine c - The hosts' hospitality was phenomenal. Glass of wine as welcome. We also booked the dinner option (to be recommended) and the hosts had invited an English speaking friend and there was an English speaking Russian couple as well. The food (dinner and breakfast) was superb but we probably didn't give it the attention it deserved because we were so busy talking. We also had plenty of the excellent 'housewine'. It actually isn't a castle in that sense, it is a working winery. They are all called 'C

  If you are a wine lover and especially value the Saint-Emillion wine region and like to stay in a 18th century farm house amongst 360deg. Vineyards, then this is a perfect B&B for you. Thaw very old building, the property was fully renovated about 3 years ago. Very modern top of the art furniture, especially in the dining and living room. Our ... what people say » room was specious and comfy. Breakfast served in the garden next to the pool (Witch is covered and warm in the winter) was a treat and very nice serve - Friendly couple. Farmhouse has been renovated sympathetically with an eye for design. We stayed in the attic room which was large and bright with a skylight window that we could open. We only stayed one night but we liked this location a lot and would definitely stay again for a longer period.
