  We enjoyed our stay thoroughly - in a suite on the top floor with a beautiful terrace with a view of the Palace of the Popes, where we had our welcome champagne in the afternoon sun and watched the night lights over the palace after dinner. He made us feel very special given it was a birthday trip. Extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is beautiful and well located, walking distance to the shops and Pope's palace. The rooms are huge by European standards and well appointed. We will definitely stay here again.

  The lady on reception was very helpful. A good basic hotel for the price, especially at Festival time in Avignon. The walk in to Avignon was unexpectedly pleasant with a cycle track running beside the river. Also it was so convenient for the railway and bus services but as well as having access to everything locally (the Rhone just a stone's throw away).
