Cheap and simple. Just what we needed. hyvä sijainti, helppo mennä ja toimia.Rooms are confortable and it wass a calm stay. I guess the sheets were clean (or at least we hope so) and it wasn't too horribly far from the downtown area of Rovaniemi. If you decide to stay here, make sure you go to the Clarion Hotel (Hotel Santa Claus) prior to walking to Hostel Rudolf as they don't have any staff on-hand.all reviews »
check-in at another location might be difficult if you don't know the city, if you arrive late, if you don't speak the language - or all.
Also - if you're going to have TV's in the roomes, please make sure thay are safe - our TV made strange noises, so we considered it best to release it from the wall. . keittiö oli likainen, huoneen lamppu palanut, radio ei pelannut . Rooms are cold, I had some problem with the light in the bathroom and nobody did not come to fix it even if we called the hostel reception. First off, for what we paid for the room one would think the bed linens would have already been prepared for us. The room lighting was scarce and you could tell not having staff on-hand wasn't beneficial. Our neighbors were loud, rude, and smoked at least twice in the non-smoking hostel (came back to one sleeping in front of our door, too). To be ranked as the "Hostel of the Year in 2009" was a joke because, quite frankly, I was unimpressed with just about everything the room itself had to offer.
