I really enjoyed my staying in this pension. The atmosphere is great, location is wonderful. Room was big and tidy. There is a nice restaurant with delicious food. Breakfasts were not unvaried. The place itself is really good if you are looking for tranquility and want to get away from the buzz of big city. At the same time it is close to Brno so

Great location on the Market Square in the pedestrianised centre but close to public transport. Our room looked out over the market square but the secondary glazing meant we could not hear a thing. The hotel was converted from a bank a year ago and the comfortable rooms, bathrooms and public areas have been renovated beautifully in Art Deco style. Hotel was very good. Very good location. I don't normally like breakfasts as there is normally nothing suitable. I'm a veggie, they had lots suitable including boiled eggs. It's not hot food buffet but cold foods. I was very happy with it.

VV is a rather small, modern hotel featuring a number of clever ideas. Examples: towel sets of different colours, so that you don't mistake them, or a bathroom with separate switches for light, ventilation and quick infra-red heating. In that way the hotel does not waste the resources and at the same time you get exactly what you wanted.
Similar ideas apply to a minimal yet efficient reception and a self-service mini-bar, where you can get free tea / coffee at any time of day and night.
