  I'm amazed when the hotel supposed to pick two people with different flights at the airport and my friend happened to have postphoned flight. The room was spacious even for us standards. It was exceptionally clean. The staff was not just friendly but went out of their way to help us. Martin and Milan were exceptional. They located a fly shop in Prague and gave us instructions on how to get there. The restaurant was very good and we thought good value.   All we can say is "Wow"! We had 6 adults and 2 children under age 2 with us. The apartment at Malostranska Residence was over the top for what we were hoping for. We loved it! Advertised as room for 4 (2 double beds) we had come prepared with an air mattress for the other two adults but there were also two full size couches and a love seat. It is a most pleasant walk into the Old Town from this location across the grass of Kampa to the Charles Bridge. The cafe breakfast and lunches delighted my palate. Coffee tasted wonderful to my palate and comparable to Portland and Seattle coffees in the NW US. The employees smiles were ever-present.

The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The Icon Boutique hotel is for me an hotel which I could actually live in. I'm very fussy and we were travelling in a group of 8. All of us could just praise the hotel. We are not the easiest of people to deal with as we can all be demamding, but there was nothing too difficult for the staff there. Theresa especially was fantastic with us.
