We booked a three night stay at this beautiful hotel just before Christmas and it was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. The location is perfect, right in the centre of Prague with both the old town and the new town on your doorstep. The hotel is unique with each room being individually designed and given it's own jewel name. The room itself was cosy and had a real home from home feel with all amenities you would need and more. It must be said also that the staff match the special sur.

We were even allowed not to pay extra for the late chek-out. Was very touching to get a bottle of water with lemons or oranges, small very tasty cakes and a story to read before going to sleep every evening.I was staying at the hotel with my husband for just two nights so the size of the room was absolutely sutable for us.We were even e. Gosh! The rooms are amazingly designed. Large and has sofas separate bathroom and toilets. High ceiling . If you like an old building that's been transformed into something magical, this is it's. And it's also 2 mins walk from old town square ( close but at enough from crowds). 1 min to Muzeuk metro station! And eat of all people were so gracious and friendly, ESP one of the breakfast lady Chaka (could haste mispelled) she was lovely and good at what she did! Brought a nice morning cheer to eve. Superb location that is close to all famous sites in Prague. Great free breakfast with an à la carte menu that is included in the price of the hotel. Free workable Wi-Fi. Staff was knowledgeable about the area. We ate some of the best meals in the in-house hotel restaurant. We found the other local restaurants were very expensive and had horrible food. For us this hotel was perfect and the manager and his staff aim to please each hotel guest. The hotel has excellence insulation and the rooms. This hotel is all about the nice details. From the warm welcome, to the water in your room with organic fruit in it, to the delicious and generous breakfast in the morning, it was a welcome respite to the Prague city center surrounding it. What makes it even more amazing is the value for money you get with booking a room here. Many of the best sights in Prague are walking distance from this hotel (5 mins or less). The main entrance of the hotel, is through the restaurant/bar which serves lovely. The details made the difference at this boutique hotel: fruited water, a truffle or similar each evening It's location just a few blocks from the Main Square and a few blocks from the Charles Bridge make it a great location for a short visit. All sites for a a few day stay are within walking distance. The metro and tram are also within a couple of blocks. Breakfast is served in the bar which is a restaurant which allows smoking at dinner. Fortunately, they have figured out how to eliminate any . The location of the hotel was fabulous- just a few blocks from the Old Town Square. Also, they had a wonderful breakfast every morning that was a combination of continental and ala carte (pancakes with honey, sausages, eggs). The staff were nice and spoke some English, though I had difficulty obtaining further information- for example, what does a certain dish on the menu contain, (what part of the chicken), what is a certain fruit on top of a dessert, etc. It is very nice hotel with beautifull rooms. They have a most comfortable beds and pillows I have ever tried in hotels. Very good wifi conection, complementary muffins in the room, fantastic breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff. Good noise isolation. Fantastic location, in the centar of the city with a lot of restaurants, bars, shops, theather, markets in the neighbourhood. Very stylish & romantic hotel in an old building with lift for luggage. Very close to metro station that makes you go anywhere convenient. Breakfast was freshly prepared to order, and supplemented the extensive buffet. The location couldn't be better. The old and new towns were five minutes in either direction. The soundproofing was very good. Loved the little touches, like the daily supply of water, cakes and a local legend for bedtime reading. It's a very modern hotel. The rooms are smallish, but no more so than other European hotels of similar or higher price in the cities. It is well-designed and attractive. The breakfast (included) is wonderful. Staff were super helpful, we arrived quite early in the morning so our room wasn't ready, but the staff adjusted their schedule so that we could have a room and a shower after a long train journey... The only thing wich seemed to me rather strange was the bed in our room: the mattress consisted of two separate parts that for some unknown reason weren't fixed together, so if you sleep in the middle of the bed in the morning you find yourself between two mattresses almost on the boards. But i'm sure they will solve this problem. And one more very importamt thing the mattresses itself, the pillows and blankets are very very cosy. Only small issue was the cleaners didn't seem to replenish the toiletries even after I've put the empties out on the bench for them to see... So didn't get any new toiletries for the 4 nights I was there. Minor in the whole scheme of things!. None. For those that drive into Prague, this hotel only has 1 parking space which you have to book in advance. It is directly in front of the hotel. We got ticketed for having it parked on the street during street cleaning on Sunday...but the staff took the ticket and said they would "take care of it". Hopefully, there's not a warrant out for my arrest. But aside from that, no complaints. Yes, there are stairs, but not an issue for us. I don't remember exactly how it was advertised, but it's a walk- up ... 49 steps to the 2nd floor. It wasn't a problem for us, but others might need to know that. They have a baggage elevator, but none of (4) us had a bag narrow enough to fit. Fortunately, the staff was available to transport the baggage. The hotel was without an elevator for people, though there was a luggage elevator. Had I realized how far it would be to our room (3rd floor there, 4th to Americans - 73 steps), I might not have chosen this hotel, or perhaps requested a lower level or larger room. Our room was very small, not the smallest in the hotel, but pretty. The bed however was very uncomfortable with a large sag across the top half of the bed. Old building with high ceiling and no elevator. They have an elevator for luggage, and the staff is very friendly and they help carrying all your stuff. The stairs were quite steep, though there was a dumb waiter for baggage, and the staff were more than willing to help. Would definitely consider staying here again. Nothing really. While we didn't mind the climb, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to people who don't like stairs! They have a luggage lift, but that didn't go to the top floor where we were staying. We are frequent travellers and have stayed at many big and small hotels, but not one that you could not fault anything! Well done Jewel Design. The rooms were very small and there was no lift for people. I was already counting on this, based on previous comments, so I do not consider this as a bad aspect at all. There is no lift for people (but one for bags, which is pretty cool), which didn't bother me but I can imagine would be a problem for some people as there are quite a few steep steps. A bit dangerous stairs to the 3rd floor. 2 flights of stone spiral staircases to get to my room. no lift in the very old building. The rooms are too small, the kitchen is opened only after 5pm. no elevator. Single room a bit too small. well we asked for rooms with separate beds, and were assured we would get them. Not so. If you are a couple, this place is great, but a traveling group of friends will find this place very very awkward. Nothing!. small size of the room.
