Pension Pod Skalkou is located just outside the old town, a five minute walk has you in amongst this gorgeous wee town. The pension is new, clean, very well, appointed, a good breakfast selection is offered and it is staffed by a wonderfully friendly and helpful family. It has to be recommended 100%. Cesky Krumlov is very lucky to have accommodation such as Pension Pod Skalkou available for visitors.

We enjoyed our stay at U Zamku very much. Petr was a most welcoming and friendly host, helping with parking on arrival and numerous other things during our stay. He even posted a tripod stand, which we had left behind, to our next hotel. The location is wonderful, right under the castle, the room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfasts very good. The hotel is situated within the old town, close to the castle and all other sites. The rooms, though basic ,had everything we needed and were very clean. The breakfast was expansive, more than we expected considering the price of the room. The thing that stood out for us was the friendliness of our host and his ability to speak excellent English.

Everything! Location on the river with superb view of the castle. Room was huge with 2 beds ( one king and one twin) and couch and 2 chairs, vanity, and armoire. Faux Louis XIV style. Huge breakfast included served on the terrace overlooking the river. Staff had it waiting every morning. Cannot say enough about the helpful and friendly staff. We loved this Pension Hotel Belarie!
