  We absolutely loved Villa Carrara.In the heart of the Unesco Trogir old city, you opened your window to look onto the cobblestreets and wonderful atmosphere of Trogir.The hotel looks tiny from outside but the rooms are very cosy,new & bright. We are in our 30's & my mom & friend in their 50's,so all ages will have fun there. The staff ... what people say » were incredible & upgraded us for free to a larger room.Josko was great fun,our rental cars trunk ended up being broken & he waited 3 hours in - We stayed in the apartment - room 1. For the moment we arrived we were taken care of. We were given ice creams,coffee and nothing was any hassle. We even borrowed a beach umbrella. As a family we have travelled alot and I can honestly say the service provided by this team is 5star - exceptional. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel and would most definitely return. Some people have mentioned the bells but really, any where in Croatia you hear the bells at sometime! Didn't stop

  Rooms clean and tidy, basic, but good! 2 minute walk from the sea. Originally booked for one night only, but extended for one more night as quite a few of us liked staying there. It was very good value for money + there was breakfast served in the mornings too. Highly recommended. Would come back again - Cleaning was excelent (everyday our beds were made and clean towels delivered). The Hotel is far enough from so called "Copacabana" beach (main beach in Ocrug) - about 400 m far. This gave us some peacefull and relatively quiet evenings, when the main beach was becoming a big and loud dance party full of young and drunk shouting people dancing.

  Me and my husband stayed here last month with another couple. We where very pleased with the villa. Very good location, beautiful view of the old town, spotless apartment, nice and modern and very clean bathroom. we where very happy to have chosen this one. We had a good walk in the old town of Trogir and a pleasant dinner. Thanks to the owners, it was a very good nigh - The hotel was facing the harbour with beautiful views of sailing boats from the room window. The hotel is just across the bridge from the mainland and prices are significantly cheaper for food & drink, yet you get to the centre in 5 minute walk. Parking was a squeeze but they accommodated us so that was a bonus.

  We arrived 2 hours early and the family appologised to us for not being ready, the apartment was spotlessly clean and in the middle of the world heritage site of Trogir, and only a 7 minute drive from the airport. and a boat ride into Spilt With a free transfer provided to the airport. Would stay here again next time we go to Spilt - I was real... what people say » ly nice to arrive at the airport and being fetched by the hostess - and the same when we returned home. They took the time to drive us to the airport. I got all the help I need when arranging bike renting and other activities. It was all together a really good experience and the people around us were very kind.

  In all our travels in Europe over the last 20 years this is the best apartment we have ever stayed in. The breakfast was excellent, the apartment was modern, clean and very well fitted out with a good standard of fixtures and fittings. Luca and his wife looked after us exceptionally well, let us try his homemade wine, some freshly cooked sardine... what people say » s and gave us lots of help with local transport. - The great family atmosphere, impeccable cleanliness and really personalservice one can never find, not even deluxe hotels, As my husband hadjust suffered a severe bout of salmonella in another country, Luka andhis wife went out of their way to provide adequate food for hiscondition.Most enjoyable was an evening spent in the garden with Luka,his wife and other guests with free wine flowing.

  large apartment, facilities, sea view - Manager was great and the apartment was very nice. Manager went outof his way to help. Even drove me to the airport so I could get arental car.

  Friendly, convenient and can recommend it. - We were only there for one short night, arriving at 8pm and leaving at 6am for an early flight (15 min from airport). The service was wonderful.   Really nice, friendly hotel. Not very busy while we were there and everyone was getting ready for the start of the season. Lots of cleaning and refurbishment. All very nice, but not flash. Definately one of the best hotels we saw in the area. Lovely location overlooking the sea and surronded by pines. Would definately stay again and would recomend ... what people say » it. - The rooms, although small, were well-appointed. The ones we were in faced the sea and had a lovely lawn and trees in front. The sea was so handy and we got the wonderful sea breeze. A fridge would have been useful.
